Heather McCaig is a flameworked borosilicate glass artist based near Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. The land on which Heather McCaig resides is the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq people. These lands are subject to a treaty of Peace and Friendship, which did not hand over ownership of lands, but rather established what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.
